Emma & James Music is an Arizona-based live act built around strong live chemistry, smoky vocals, expressive guitar, and story-driven original music. Led by husband-and-wife artists Emma and James, the act brings the feel of a real artist project in flexible duo, trio, and full-band formats.
Their sound blends indie-blues, alternative rock, soul, jazz-tinged color, and lounge-inspired atmosphere. Across all formats, the performance is shaped to serve the room rather than overpower it.

We are not trying to be everything to everyone. We are trying to create something honest, soulful, bluesy, cinematic, and a little unexpected.
Originals include "Can't Sleep," "I Get a Fever," "As the Sun Goes Down," "I Need Another Hero," "Leopard in a Cage," and "Savior." Covers are curated to match our sound — Peggy Lee's "Fever," Kaleo's "Broken Bones," Dennis Lloyd's "Can't Go Back," and Muse's "Feeling Good."
Emma loves taking songs originally sung by men and making them her own — changing lyrics when needed so they fit her voice and perspective, and removing anything that wouldn't fit the family-friendly tone we want our shows to have.
